How Kat treats

Kat graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2010 reading BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy.

The course content is very similar to Physiotherapy with a slightly different ethos- to return or keep people moving in their sport as much as possible.

A very hands on approach is practiced. Expect treatments to include Sports Massage, Acupuncture, Taping, Ultrasound and Joint Mobilisations.

Homework will come from the the fundamentals of Pilates and you will be encouraged to stay as active as possible with your pain/ restrictions.

What type of treatment should I book?

Sports Therapy

This is for anyone who would like a full assesment/ diagnosis of an injury. It includes all types of treatments Kat offers and you are also likely to be set some “Homework”.

Sports Massage

This is just for those who wish to have the one type of treatment. There is no assessment but a brief chat* with Kat will let her know what you would like to work on that day.

* If you have not seen Kat before and have an injury/ are in pain you will need to have a Sports Therapy 1 hour appointment first. However, if you are just looking for tight muscles to be released this is not necessary.

Any questions just drop Kat a message before booking.
